Junior Social Tennis

In addition to the comprehensive coaching services at the club, a junior night is held every Friday night during school term time to provide club members and visitors the chance to play some tennis and meet the other juniors. Juniors are invited to turn up and play during the following times:

• 5-6pm: 4-11's
• 6-7pm: 11-14's
• 7-8pm: 15-18's

For visitors, a pay&play fee of £3 is required, for members its free!

Junior Teams

Abergavenny has teams in the National Junior Club League every spring/summer and competes in Under 12, 14 and 16 age-groups. We also compete in the Monmouthshire Mini Tennis Club League at red (7&U), orange (9&U) and green (10&U) levels. We have been proud to win on several occasions and progress to the South East Wales finals, winning the Mini Red title in November 2006!

Schools Tennis

ATC stages the annual Tennis Wales/Dragon Sport Monmouthshire Primary Schools competiton at red, orange and green levels, and has an extensive outreach programme with 12 primary schools and 1 comprehensive school.
